About SOUā¢SOU
Use of the Japanese phraseĀ sou souĀ – meaning “yes, yes” – offers more than an affirmative response; it’s a way to validate another person and establish a sense of community. The SOUā¢SOU textile collectionĀ created byĀ celebrated designer Karsuji Wakisaka aims to do much the same byĀ offering colorful designs that bring us together. Drawing on the landscape around Kyoto and theĀ mod styles of the 1960s, Wakisaka seeks toĀ revitalize age-old Japanese stylesĀ by combining traditional shapes withĀ contemporary patterns.
Materials: Cotton
Dimensions:Ā 35″ L x 14″ W
Care:Ā As this product is hand-dyed,Ā youĀ mayĀ experience color loss/bleeding. Hand wash separately with cold water and mild detergent. Please note:Ā Tenugui are purposefully designed without hems toĀ maximizeĀ drying speeds, which means that some initial fraying is normal. Do not pull loose threads; instead, trim them with scissors. The frayed edge will develop a natural fringeĀ with time.
